The cause depends on how the srcset attribute is determined and what data was fed to the function generating the attribute. There is frequently this kind if error because it’s at times unclear whether /path/filename strings appended to base URLs from functions like wp_get_upload_dir() should include a leading slash or not.

Since WP does not natively support SVG media in its library, I suspect an issue with a plugin.

The example SVG you provided is within an element called “wpb_content_element”. The “wpb” part commonly references a plugin of some sort. Do you know which one that might be? I suggest asking the plugin devs responsible for the SVG output how to resolve this.

bcworkz: Thank you very much for the reply! The “wpb_content_element” is coming from a visual layout editor called WP Bakery. I have never had any issue with this plugin in the past (as far as this issue goes), so I do not believe that the problem is with that plugin. However, I am using a plugin called “Safe SVG” for the first time on this site in order for WP to allow SVG uploads to the media library.

As you mentioned, it is probably an issue with that SVG plugin specifically. Thought I’d try here first to see if this was a known issue with WP itself, but now I”ll see if the devs of that plugin can help me out at all.

Thanks again for the help, much appreciated.
