SVG not Displaying

I added icon_page-title-basketball.svg to my ftp site then referenced it directly on my page [ redundant link removed ], but it will not display. I can open the image in a new tab, and it displays just fine, so I know it’s there, but I can’t get it to actually render on my site. Any ideas?
