SVG Issues

@ingarb thank you for reporting this. Do you mind zipping the SVGs that don’t work properly after upload via something like WeTransfer? So I can try to replicate the issue on my test site and investigate what could be going wrong. Thanks.

I’ve had similiar problem but i’ve fixed it on Elementor Settings -> Enable SVG upload option /Unfilter Upload/.

what should be a scenario when migrating from other plugin for svg support?

i disabled svg upload plugin, and enabled svg in ASE, but the icons didn’t work.

should i just re-upload?

@tomislo can you upload/share the original SVG somewhere, e.g. google drive? Which other SVG plugin did you use? I need to replicate the issue first on my test site using the SVG file with which you were seeing the issue.

@tomislo thank you. After taking a closer look, I’ve found the cause of the issue. In the next release, this will be fixed. In other words, you should be able to switch to ASE to properly display SVGs you’ve uploaded with SVG Support, and then continue uploading SVGs with ASE.

Looking forward for this update @qriouslad ! Right now I have ASE on many sites, but still have the SVG plugin, because I don’t dare to uninstall it and turn on SVG Support in ASE, because it’s 50/50 on each site which SVG’s work or don’t work after that.
Strange thing is, it works great in Elementor, looks good. But when you save and go to the page, not so much. I still have one icon that just will not work after switching to ASE and enabling SVG:

@ingarb yes, please do update and test when it’s released next Monday.

I deactivated SVG Support plugin, enabled SVG Upload on ASE and it works perfectly. One less plugin needed. Great job, @qriouslad ??
