SVG display on Insert Media modal

  • I’ve got SVG support working for my theme, and done the necessary to get the SVGs showing when you view the Media Library, but when I add media via the Insert Media button, or by adding a Featured Image any SVGs displayed in the list of media in the Insert Media modal window are replaced with default blank PNG icons (/wp-includes/images/media/default.png).

    Anyone know what I need to do in order to get SVGs showing here as well, or if this possible.
