    Hello,

I have a question regarding the generated orders in Svea Payment Admin because it always display the prices with included VAT. Because we have this feature for Company/Individual, where in “company” we don’t display the VAT for the product but VAT is still added as a separate row in cart and checkout. and in “individual” VAT is already applied per product.

Is there a way we can display the product price with excluded VAT and have a separate VAT row below the table? just like in WooCommerce cart and checkout page? Do we need to set extra parameters?

Or Svea Payment admin will always display the prices with included VAT?

    Thanks

    Hi!

    Thank you for contacting us!

There’s no way for us to change the way prices are presented in Svea Payment Admin unfortunately. I would suggest you contact your Svea supervisor and ask them to implement this feature.

Ok, thank you for your reply.

My follow-up question would be about the new order email after svea checkout.

Because currently it’s always on the ‘incl. VAT’ mode where the VAT is already applied to each product. Is it connected with Svea payment admin VAT settings or the plugin can do something with that maybe with the ‘woocommerce_tax_display_cart’ option?

Because we also have this flow, that we will create the a pending/on-hold order directly not thru Svea checkout. The prices being displayed in the email is following our Company/Individual settings, where again the company doesn’t apply the VAT per product but has a separate row below for the total VAT.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Because this is what we are trying to achieve in woocommerce order and email for ‘Company’ type. Products will not include VAT but will have a total VAT row below the table (pls refer to the image below).

How can we trigger woocommerce that we want to separate the VAT.
Is this a functionality of your plugin?

    Thanks,

    Hi!

No, VAT on a separate line is not a functionality of our plugin.

    Hello,

I think I already found out what ‘flag’ is being used by the email to include or exclude the VAT, is is the ‘woocommerce_tax_display_cart’ option.

We tried to display it to the email body and it always displays as ‘incl’ even though during the cart and checkout page it was set to ‘excl’.

Do you know why it’s always ‘incl’ after svea checkout? is it being overridden during the checkout process?

    Thanks,

    Hi!

The woocommerce_tax_display_cart filter is never used in Svea checkout. Does this behavior only appear when you use Svea Checkout or when trying other means of payment as well?

    Hello,

Yeah, only when using Svea Checkout.
Because we have 2 paths of creating WooCommerce order, manually and thru svea checkout, svea checkout will be used more often.
The manual path sends email as expected for Company/Individual.
The old plugin(Stripe checkout) that we used before svea also works fine.

Can you suggest some workaround for this?
How about adding metadata to the order and get/check it in email creation, do you know what hooks can I use for that?

    Thanks

    Hi!

There is nothing that will affect any VAT settings in our extension. It is only WooCommerce that controls how it should be presented on the thank you page and in the email. My guess is that there is something in your Tax toggle that creates this behavior.

I’m sorry that I don’t have any great workarounds for you.

    Best,
