    Hello,

One of my clients sent me an a screenshot of email they received which at first glance seemed to come from WooCommerce. The email claims a few products on the website violates woocomemrce terms and as such payment on the site would be suspended.

It further claims there is a notification of the issue on my dashboard and that the email link would also allow me to address the issue. The email looks suspicious and manually typing the visible link mentioned in the email goes nowhere to a non-existent page on woocommerce. I’m not able to hover over the link to see if it is a fradulent link.

Furthermore I am using the woocommerce plugin and the payment system is not one built by the woocommerce team.

I’d love some advice from the community. Here is a screenshot of the email received:

    Thanks alot!

  • Hello @dawebmaster

Well, it’s pretty obvious when you take a close look at the email address. d0(it’s a zero)notreply.com. Such email typically will comes from woocommerce.com

    Cheers ??

    Hi @dawebmaster

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

This email has been sent from the d0notreply.com domain and not from WooCommerce. It can be seen that the from address is Woocommerce @ d0notreply.com

I am using the woocommerce plugin and the payment system is not one built by the woocommerce team.

    That is a good observation.
