I used to love this plugin. It was my backup plugin for 4 years.

But today I tried to install it in a new website and the suscribe form didn’t allow me to do any restore operation. And couldn’t close it either. And even tried submiting the info, but nothing happens except for a blank page.

It is unacceptable the forced suscription. But more unacceptable is the submissions of personal information and not to be able to use the plugin even so. If this is a bug, it is unacceptable too.

Please remove my personal info from your database. This is not the way to increase your leads.

    Dear @egoipse ,

First of all, thank you for being a loyal customer of ours for 4 years. It is greatly appreciated.

Also, we are sorry for the issue you faced. This doesn’t seem to be a normal behavior.

We would really need to get more information about it, so could you tell us what form you saw? Could you send a screenshot from it for us to understand, please?
Is there no error on the blank page after the form submission?
Please, help us understand the kind of issue you faced.

We would very much appreciate having more info.

    Take care.

Ok, I finally figured out how to avoid the form.

But now I have another issue: the restorarion process got stucked at 93%. I cannot make anything with the site. I cannot connect to site page either; I got an “Error establishing a database connection”.

Did I lose all the site content because of this? I only made a BakcupGuard back up

Oficially, the restauration process gets stuck on different percentage every time.

php.ini configuration was set to accept huge files, with huge RAM allocation.

There’s no server limitation in this case.

Please let me know how to proceed. All my business site is there. Now it’s offline beacause of this issue.

Ok, I solved it. Checking at other support tickets on same issue, I got aware about the restore log. Mine said that the limit for max_allowed_packet was lower than file size. So I change the value in mysql.cnf file.

    Dear @egoipse ,

Glad to see the issue with the form is resolved. Did it get resolved after updating the plugin?

Also, very glad to see the restore was finally successful. It’s a good idea to download the restore (or backup -in case there’s a backup issue) logs in case of such issues and check them.
They help us in troubleshooting as well as you’ve noticed.

In case there is anything we can help you with, please, let us know.
