Surge interferes in SiteGround Migrator
-
Dear Konstantin,
Actually I created this ticket to help other colleagues that could face the same problem as me.
It appears that Surge interferes in SiteGround Migrator actions. I’m not sure what information I can send you to help, but this is what happen:
At wp-admin (where I expected to receive all pages uncached), I start the migration, SG server shows the “transfer started” dialog but the same initial page reloads, it appears that the plugin can not proceed with the migration and started from scratch again.
After some tries within SG plugin, I decided to debug the issue in WP admin and the first plugin I deactivated was Surge. After this, the things started to work.
Is it possible to consider this situation in Surge or SG Migrator? Maybe SG plugin should test for any cache before start, right? But what kind of activity can Surge do that can cause a block or deliver a content that blocks SG Migrator actions?
Can you help me with this subject?
Thanks!
Marco Andrei
