• Hi all

On the overview of my posts only a short extract of the whole post is shown by default. But if it is short enough to show the whole text length on the overview, the label of the button is also shown. So at the end of the text there is BACK and then the Read more link. How can this be avoided (without lengthening the message)?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best wishes,
    Silvan

  • Hello,

Kindly go to Customize > Blog > Entry and find elements positioning option – click on the eye icon of the read more link option to disable it. You can also set the excerpt length from the settings.

    Hi Amit

Thank you very much for your fast reply.

It is strange, when I disable in the mentioned configurations the image, text or even the read more link, nothing happens.

In addition, I am not sure if we are talking about the same. I didn’t mean the read more link suppression. I was talking about a button I placed on the detail blog site which label text appears in the overview. The name of my button is ‘BACK’ and on the blog overview (before clicking on read more) this text appears at the end.

    Can you help?

    Best wishes,
    Silvan

    Hello @sjlae50,

Can you share your website link as well as several screenshots which describe your issue best?

    Thank you

    Hi Marko

How can I share screenshots (upload files)? The website and the particular site I mentioned is password protected and therefore, I can’t share the link.

    Best wishes,
    Silvan
