Hi and thanks for a nice plugin.

The plugin has trapped a fair few bot registrations since installing it a few days ago, I manually approve everything for now. They are obviously bots, so I don’t want to send them the ‘Account denied’ email as this will fuel their desire to try again and also send out unnecessary emails (after all, why email a bot?).

I do want to get them off the member requests screen however, as I can see this filling up the database quickly. How can I delete them without sending an email?

A nice plugin tweak would be to replace the Deny button with 2 buttons, ‘Reject’ or ‘Reject & send email’.

We can definitely consider the idea in that last line, but as is, we don’t have anything in place for that level of control. Sadly it’s not guaranteed to be only bots that need denied via this type of plugin.

It’s a good legit curious question how much the spammers may or may not use legit emails that the even read, if ever
