Support With LunarPages

  • I recently purchased a basic hosting package for my wordpress.com blog. I realize that I may have to start all over again (in order to use www.remarpro.com). The problem is, I can’t seem to access www.remarpro.com through lunarpages. .Org is installed in my account, but my admin panel is still in the .com mode (for example, I can’t upload new themes).

    My question is, how do I start from scratch so that I can create a blog using www.remarpro.com?

  • hmm…i don’t really get your problem, because the only thing you can do to treansfer your files to the ‘.org’ version of wordpress is export and import, which also means the only thing transferred are the posts and pages.

    To start from scratch is easy, you just go to cpanel from lunar pages and get into Fantastico, install wordpress from there (which is a shortcut to upload this and that and creating databases, it’ll do it all for you!). as soon as you’re done, import the xml file you exported from ‘.com’, do whatever you want with anything (yes, this is the freedom of ‘.org’ :)) and you’re done!
