Support was shocking

I tried to get this plug-in working for over 2 months. Amazon support were superb in helping me troubleshoot the challenges — we got everything working from the Amazon side.
Unfortunately, the plug-in support was shocking.
The responses to my queries were cut’n’paste blocks of text that weren’t customised for my queries.
In the end, and I quote, my question to support got a “You should Google that” response.
Reading between the lines, I think that was their way of saying “go away”. ??
I requested and received a refund for my purchase. Disappointing.
