• When a plugin or a theme becomes big and widely used, it may have thousands of support topics, I suggest to put a search facility to search within the specific plugin of theme instead of just keep creating new topics.

    Thanks

  • Yes! This!!!

This the most frustrating thing about www.remarpro.com. When I have an issue with a plug-in I can’t limit my search to that plug-in’s threads.

Especially when the specific issue has some common thread, like embedding YouTube videos. The word ‘YouTube’ returns so many irrelevant results it’s almost useless to search and I’m better to open a new support request. That probably frustrates the dev’s having to answer the same question, but if I can’t find the answer then as far as I’m concerned it’s never been asked!!!

    C’mon www.remarpro.com, please please please!!!!

We know that the forum search could be improved. It’s on the To Do list. However, due to the highly customised & complex nature of the forum software and the way it integrates into the www.remarpro.com network generally, any potential changes are likely to take some time. Please be patient.

I don’t know why technically it needs a lot of time, but if you code it manually, it only needs a couple of lines condition to make it work unless you make changes in a plugin or so.

We have to be patient, but we are looking forward to see this.

    www.remarpro.com is not running WordPress…

This lack of plugin-restricted search makes the support section totally useless for big plugins, in my opinion. Worst “new” support UX ever. Though WP it self is the best piece of software ever ??
