    Hi,

    I’m currently using the LocoTranslate extension to modify and personalize the “login labels” or “password” in my WooCommerce store. However, I’m concerned that these modifications could be overwritten during future WooCommerce updates.

    I would like to get help to establish a definitive method that ensures my login label modifications remain intact even after updates.

    Could you please provide me with advice or recommendations on the best way to accomplish this?

    Hello, I followed the “Safe locations” method I went to this “wp-content/languages/loco” file but in the “language” file I found two empty “themes” and plugins” files. Can you can you please help me?

    I don’t follow what you’re telling me. Are you saying you saved a file in the custom location, but it isn’t there?

    Hi,

    I successfully changed the po file location from system to custom. This creates a double folder. Can I delete the initial translation file placed in system? Without risking creating problems https://imgur.com/a/uNNTBUc

    You can delete it, but WordPress will install it again during the next update.

    Thank you for your feedback. I understand that there is no point in deleting the file from the system. Can you please confirm that moving the PO file to a custom folder will allow me to keep the translations despite updates?

    To the best of my knowledge, as per the FAQ when I wrote it, files in Loco Translate’s custom folder will not be touched by WordPress updates.
