  • Hi,

We are a bit confused as to what the exact issue is. We would like some more information.

    1. What HTML file is being referenced? Can you elaborate more on where this file is located and what you are expecting the file to do?

    2. Do you have a meta description on a page and Yoast is not correctly showing it? If so, can you let us know what page has the issue and what the meta description is supposed to be?

    3. We had another recent release. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v14.8? If you update, does the issue resolve? .

    4. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.5? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider.?Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast.?This guide explains more:?https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    5. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    Hello,
Thanks for your positive and quick response.
Please check the elaborate details –

I have latest updated both WordPress and Yoast Plugin. I was using the same for a long. But, before a few weeks, we have redeveloped our website with Reactjs Frontend and WordPress backend.
Now, the problem that I am facing is –
I have updated Title and Description in Yoast Plugin but it is not displaying on the front end of the website. Neither on Source Code nor on Tab hover on the website.

About HTML file – When we update the Meta tags, Yoast generates an HTML file that shows the data on the frontend in WordPress. But, when we used Reactjs as front end, Reactjs does not read HTML file, it needs Key file. We tried to convert the HTML file into key file to resolve this problem but it is also not resolving our problem and we are still not getting Meta Tags on either Source code or on Hover of title tab.

Now I am unable to understand what to do to overcome this problem.

    Please check – https://www.synsoftglobal.com

Already Meta tags updated in SEO Yoast but not reflecting anywhere apart from Inspect Element.

Thanks for your explanation. If we understand correctly, you have redeveloped the website by using ReactJS front end and headless WordPress. Even though you have used a different mechanism to develop your website, you should be still able to use the Yoast SEO plugin.

Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t generate an HTML file but generates HTML meta and JSON+LD schema markup. If you are struggling with outputting the Yoast SEO specific HTML meta and JSON+LD schema markup on the front end part of your website, you must take a look at your code.

That said, Yoast SEO v14.0 comes with an excellent Rest API features that you can use to get the HTML meta and output them in the front end part of your website.

We hope this points you in the right direction!
