Support is very poor

It is almost 12 months since we have been able to install new versions of Events Manager / Events Manager Pro. In March last year, a new version was released that had a major bug in it (couldn’t add bookings through the back end) which wasn’t fixed until the next release in October (7 months wait). When we installed the new version it also had a bug in it (a different one – the filter by user on the event list shortcode no longer works), which was duly reported but so far we haven’t even heard whether the problem has been diagnosed. We have had to roll back to the last version that worked properly.
On both occasions we’ve gone to a lot of trouble to be helpful (creating test versions of our website, for example), but no response as to whether the test site has even been looked at.
In www.remarpro.com it says the plugin was last updated 2 weeks ago, but the latest release was in October, 4 months ago. What does this mean?
