Support Forum Search

Can anyone at WP figure out how to display a sorted search by date, most recent at the top, for the support forum. Answers from WP versions 1.x.x and 2.x.x are doubtfully relevant with 3.5.1 and there is so much clunk and clutter in the search results.

Just saying.

A better search is on the forum’s To do list. However, said To Do list is very, very, long.
