• Hi ??

Does this theme support the native WordPress blog?
When I open an existing blog post, it gives a blank page.
I don’t mind writing the CSS for the single page of the Post post type.
But, we need it to display the contents.

    Thank you

    Hi Billion

This theme is designed to be a pared-back minimal theme that gives you access to Elementor’s features, without the overhead of a normal WordPress theme, so it doesn’t have native blog support.

You can (and should) create your blog via Elementor, as described here:

    Hi @konker

    Thank you for answering.
I understand the idea behind it and how it is meant to be used. But, I think that the theme can and should be applied in other scenarios.
I plan to not use a page builder, even disabling Gutenberg and parts of WordPress, like the Customizer.

It would be nice if Skelementor had those few more template parts (possibly even sidebars), so that it can be used as the base for a super fast website.
Only set up the basic layout, without any assets.

Skelementor should be the professional’s choice. And while I do like Elementor’s ease of use, it is not an option for performance oriented websites.

    Hi Billion

OK, now you’re talking my language ??

I use a custom built theme very similar to what you’re describing on my own website and have considered publishing a minimalist / boilerplate style theme designed with loading speed in mind. Just never found the time.

Nice to meet you Karl ??

The average user or developer that builds websites with Elementor, can’t really appreciate and embrace Skelementor. Primarily, because it’s time consuming. Secondly, clients don’t care much about page speed.
So maybe… adjust your vision, and aim it at a different audience.

If you can find the time, I’m sure that a lot of people over at the WordPress Speed Up ,and other more general WordPress and WooCommerce Facebook groups, would be very interested in using a minimalist, basic and bare php theme.

You’ll probably be able to get help there, other skilled developers that are willing to work on the theme with you, so that you can punch it out quickly and have fun doing it

I found you on facebook. I have a few questions about your website, so will be sending you a message regarding it
