    In order to make groups of lists more presentable sometimes it’s good to break out of the list and then restart it. This is supported behaviour of the < ol > tag: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_ol_start.as

    <ol start="10">

    example

    1. sad
    2. miserable
    3. resigned
    4. smug

    Some text and then we continue

    1. fair
    2. dark
    3. red

    I am not sure why this does not work with this plugin (or your premium Legal Tiered List which we have purchased).

    Can you advise?

    Thankyou

    Including support for the start parameter was not a consideration when the plugin was created.

    The plugin works by using CSS to ensure that the default numerical indicator for ordered list items is not shown, but a new numerical indicator in the required character format is added as a pseudo element so it can be added to the body of the list item and targetted directly by CSS. This uses CSS counters to generate the number which cannot make use of the value of the start parameter.

    Adding support for the start parameter would require a rewrite of the plugin. I have a few ideas for how to best achieve this, so I will add it to my to-do list of things to investigate.
