Important Questions as Gutenberg is being pushed on the community sooner than later:

    1. Will Shortcodes be supported? Yes or No?
    2. Will meta be supported?
    3. Will Custom Post Types be supported?

Those of us who use WordPress beyond a simple blog-post editor, need to know.
    Cheers and Thanx

Hey Web242, according to the FAQ:

    Shortcodes

Shortcodes will continue to work as they do now.

However we see the block as an evolution of the shortcode. Instead of having to type out code, you can use the universal inserter tray to pick a block and get a richer interface for both configuring the block, and previewing it. We would recommend people eventually upgrade their shortcodes to be blocks.

    Meta

We expect to have a dedicated “advanced” area at the bottom of the editor. It’s not yet implemented, we are tracking it here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/952

    CPTs

Yes, for the most part [CPTs will be supported]. If a post type disables the content field the idea is the “advanced” section at the bottom would fill the page.

It’s also worth adding, as far as suggesting things to be added, I would point you to the GitHub repository where Gutenberg is being developed: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues.
