  • Hi Lars,

Thanks for the suggestion. Adding rich snippet support is the next piece I plan to add to the plugin.

    Cheers!

    Hi Lars,

Support for rich snippets has been added in version 1.2.0.

    Thx!

    Hi Donna,

Thank you for working on this feature, but since 1.2.0 the review block is not working anymore. I get the error message “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.” This happened with both Gutenberg 4.0.0 and latest version.

Let me know if I can help you with any debugging.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

In the editor, can you click the 3 dots in the top right, then on Code Editor and copy and paste the contents of the editor? Thx.

Sorry, but I cannot even choose the book review block anymore.
When I search for the block I only get Facebook. :-/

    Version 1.2.0, Gutenberg 4.5.1

    Hi Lars,

I’ve added compatibility for Gutenberg 4.5+ in version 1.2.1. That should at least make it so that you can select the block again.

If you are still experiencing the original issue, please do send the contents from your editor for the problem post and I’ll try to reproduce on my end.

I really can’t wait for Gutenberg to roll out in WordPress 5.0 so that it finally becomes more stable!

    Cheers.

    Hi Donna,

Yeah, maybe we should just wait for 5.0. to roll out…

I can now select your block again in Gutenberg. I can upload a cover, and add a title, but the other fields to the right of the cover seems locked, except the first one (title).
