    It looks like Google finally updated their recommendations for this in August (moving to schema.org’s format). Breadcrumb NavXT should be capable of implementing everything but the position attribute already, you just have to change the templates for the various types. The only caveat is if you are calling the breadcrumb trail with the widget (the wrapping div needs to have attributes changed to be compliant with the new method). I’ll update this for the 5.3 release (the next release). This will fall under and be tracked in the following issue on github: https://github.com/mtekk/Breadcrumb-NavXT/issues/106

    Thanks for pointing this out, the 5.3 release will support this and contain this as the default settings (will need to do a settings reset to automatically get the new format without manually updating each template).
