• Hi,
First off, I just want to reiterate S2Member’s wonderful support and plugin.

Just had a quick question on S2MemberPro’s support for the OneAll Social Login, with respect to providing social logins access to only level 0 pages/posts. My site has 8 member levels, and I’m currently able to access all pages with the social login, whereas ideally, I’d like to be able to restrict social logins to level 0 content. Is this possible, and if so, let me know how this can be achieved.

    Cheers,
    Darren

  • It looks like that plugin has a variety of hooks and filters, so it should be possible to do this, but how is really a question for that plugin’s developers.

    Tks!
Will let you know what they say.

Darrenchu Did eventually work for you?

OneAll never got back to me… I will likely have to deactivate that plugin as it’s going to continue allowing non-members access to all supposedly protected level 1 plus content.

Thanks for the follow up. Will try to locate another social login that provides such flexibility of accessing only level zero content.

    That’s a shame ??
Do you know if it works for other levels?

Problem is those logged in with the social login would ideally have access to only level 0 content as opposed to everything else above that.

What you’re saying is If you use OneAll For social registration it circumvents the content protection of S2Member?

That is correct. All content becomes available. Ideally, I’d only like social logins to see level 0 content.

Strange, I’ve seen some people recommend this plug-in as a solution for social registration

Do you know if it works on other setups or only that it doesn’t work when trying to connect it to level 0?

Basically, with a social login, I can see all protected content, regardless of whether it’s level 0 or above. Ideally, I’d only want those with a social login to see level 0 content (and not anything above).

Thanks for your answer, I don’t know how other people did it I’ll need to investigate it further.

Hope you find an answer to your question

    Hi Yaron,
My mistake, the OneAll works perfectly w/ S2Member’s multi-level access control. The reason I was able to view greater than level 0 content previously was S2Member was associating my social logins with existing S2Member accounts that had access to greater than level 0 content.

In other words, any social logins that aren’t linked to an email address already used by a S2Member account w/ greater than level 0 privilege, won’t be able to view above level 0 content.

    Thanks again for your patience!

    Darren
