Support for new versions of WP

    Are you planning to update NADI to work properly with newer versions of WP? The last official supported version is 5.4.4, now we already have 5.6.1.. I have discovered, that some of the authentication process does not work in newer versons of WP (for example 5.5.3).. By that I mean if SSO fails (non domain computer), the browser user password dialog appears – that just does not work in newer versions (you fetch correct credentials and dialog appears again and again).. For the record, I can log in via wp login form, but I need to get there first..

    Behind the scenes we are currently working on 2.2.0 with support for Active Directory domain forests.
    I’ve tested the SSO authentication process against 5.6.1 extensively in the last days.
    The behavior you are describing looks more like a problem with your webserver’s configuration. Neither NADI nor WordPress will trigger your browser’s password dialog to appear. It only happens if your webserver can not extract any credentials.

    That is what I thought as well, but I see no misconfiguration in there.. The only thing I can get is 401 error in logs of IIS.. As I said, same IIS, WP and NADI config on wordpress 5.4.4 and it works just fine..

    When could I expect the new version 2.2.0 to come out? Will it be anytime soon? I have a project that needs to be done in few weeks. Thx

    It’s hard to give an estimate as the AD forest support needs extensive testing. We are planning a release by end of March. Currently we are collecting feedback from our customers.

    If you are experiencing issues with the current version, you can purchase a support plan so we can dive into it.
