• In general, the new 5.0 release no longer supports internal links to previous blog articles. Since many of my commentaries build on previous blogs, my readers appreciate the ability to reread these references for context. Not only is the ability to create hyperlinks suppressed, but most of my previous blogs links have been disabled. Was this an oversight? Or are internal hyperlinks no longer being supported.

  • Well, that’s not quite true. Apparently, the new link entry does not contain a search for posts. There might be an issue already written for that, but if not, you should write one. https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/
But you can use a Classic Block, and add a link just like before. The entry box has the search for posts.
As for the previous links being disabled, that sounds like something you have done, since legacy content is not changed unless you edit and save it.
