    Hello,

I have a few dozen forms on my website and use Google Analytics to track the successful sign ups and conversions on different pages of my blog as well as the user flow behavior (something the premium versions Reports don’t show.)

I find this information very helpful in knowing what pages to add mc4wp forms to. Recently I’ve received notices from Google Analytics saying they’ll discontinue support for Universal analytics in July this year (only a couple months away).

I’ve been using this code snippet on my forms: https://www.mc4wp.com/kb/form-events-google-analytics-tracking/ but now the new GA4 requires you to register events in order to track them as conversions.

Is there an updated guide on how to implement MC4WP with GA4?

    Thank you

It’s loading the debugging code now.
You can remove the debugging code again if you like.

The even is send in properly and completely:

So by now it really should show up with it’s event parameters….

That’s interesting, cause when I checked Analytics I still have no event data relating to mc4wp_signup: https://paste.pics/e956e3bde26ea603f69cfd1fcc2ffae7

And when I try use the ‘Analytics Debugger’ extension and check the GA4 tab it just shows the message: “GA4 Detected. Waiting for hits …”

You mentioned clearing Rocket’s cache in the previous response, maybe it’s that. I’ll clear that cache as well as Kinsta’s server level cache and see if that solves the issue.

Note that some browsers, such as Brave, block Google Analytics tracking. I had to turn of Brave shield before I saw the event in GA4 debugger.
Some AdBlock extension may do the same in another browser.
