    Hello,

I have a few dozen optins on my website and use Google Analytics to track the successful sign ups and conversions on different pages of my blog as well as the user flow behavior (something the premium versions Reports don’t show.)

I find this information very helpful in knowing what pages to add optinmonster forms to. Recently I’ve received notices from Google Analytics saying they’ll discontinue support for Universal analytics in July this year (only a couple months away).

I’ve been using this code snippet on my forms:?https://optinmonster.com/docs/how-optinmonster-uses-google-analytics-to-measure-conversion-analytics/ but now the new GA4 requires you to register events in order to track them as conversions.

Is there an updated guide on how to implement OptinMonster with GA4? I can’t even connect the integration on my OptinMonster account to detect the new GA4 tracking properties.

    Thank you

    Hi @soprano

Thanks for reaching out. Happy Friday ??

Currently, our Google Analytics integration works only with Universal Analytics properties and cannot be connected with GA4 properties.

However, we’re working on bringing this functionality, and we’ll let you know via a public announcement post once it is ready.

Please let us know if you have any followup questions and we’d be delighted to assist.
