Fried_eggz – I would be willing to pay for this request:
I would like to be able to have a drop down that I can edit from the front end *without* clicking “edit” to change the option.
Say you have a support ticket form. I want to have a drop down that has “Open” “In progress” “Completed” maybe color coded for each answer as well. I want to be able to update these options from the front end for each entry.

Please let me know if you’re interested.

I’m sorry. That sort of “inline editing” will be hard to implement without drastically expanding the scope of the plugin.

You can probably do it using some jquery/ajax trickery, but I won’t be able to do it for you. If you find another developer, please paste your solution here if successful and I’ll add it to the FAQ.

    The basic concept would be:
    1. Use jquery to add a select drop-down to each row
    2. Populate the drop-down with the values from the field using Gravity Forms API
    3. Add an event listener to the drop-down and post an ajax request to update the field using the GF API.

    Good luck!

I still need to pay for something like this. Is there any developers that can make this for me?
