    Dear all,

thank you for your support and your patience in the last month or so. I have been dealing with some health-related issues that have kept me away from my work with Slimstat. Unfortunately, at the same time, the person who was helping address all the support requests is not available anymore, and that’s why you’ve notice this sudden radio silence on all channels. Please rest assured that I haven’t abandoned Slimstat, and that I will be responding to all the pending support requests as soon as I am able to do so.

    Sincerely,
    Jason

  • Hello Jason –

    We use and appreciate Slimstat.

But like most users, we cannot risk running live sites using a statistics plugin which has been de-facto abandoned. Slimstat now fails to filter out bots. More importantly, Slimstat’s lack of updates is becoming a security risk.

There are no Slimstat plugin updates since almost a year. There are no Facebook or Twitter posts since almost two years.

If Slimstat development does not come alive very soon, we must switch to another WordPress statistics plugin.

What is the status of Slimstat?

    Would you please respond?

    Hi all,

thank you for your continued patience. I’m finally starting to setup my dev environment and I’m doing some spring cleaning to get back up and running with Slimstat. There’s a lot of dust that needs to be removed, and I’m working on catching up with support requests. You’ll start seeing more activity on this forum and on our support platform.

    Best,
    Jason

    That’s awesome, welcome back Jason!
I hope all is well with your health.

Thank you, @catmaniax! Yes, so far so good health-wise. Getting back on track with my plugin will be my distraction and will give me a chance to channel my energy on such a great project.

That’s great! Because these days many plugins got security holes, like yuzo, yellowpencil, social warfare…

@catmaniax yes, I’ve been reading all the articles on WordFence about p3 etc. What a mess!
