This plugin seems to be what I am looking for. However, I would need the pro-version. I assume the free version is updated as usual and automatically (if you set up your WP site to automatically update plugins. I would like to know how the pro-version is intended to be updated. I also would like to know the long term plans the developer has to maintain and update this plugin. I see a big potential but it seems to be a new developer (perhaps a single person).

The Pro version is updated regularly in the same fashion as the free version. Meaning, you will only need to click the “update” button from your plugins page on your wordpress install. You don’t have to manually update it.

It gets updated for either patches, maintaining compatibility or for additional functionnalities. Pro plan comes with priority support and user feeback is taken into account for the future updates.

    Cheers ??

Thanks for this reply. I will certainly test your pro version once another couple of potential glitches are sorted out (described in other threads).

…will the pro version revert back to the free version unless you pay the fee every year or is it only the support that is limited if you don’t pay for subsequent years? Will one fee have the pro version working for more than one year if it works well and you don’t need further support?

OK I finally found the answer. You would have to pay annually and that is OK for a good plugin. I will probably go for the lifetime license for 5 sites if the issue with H5-H6 and the issue with mixed ordered and unordered list for table of content is fixed (se separate support threads). I am looking forward to your reply on these two issues.

No, you will always be able to use the Pro version, only updates will not be available anymore.

    Yes.
