  • Just an update after further testing.

    When I make that support agent an admin, he can see all the tickets.

    When I make him a support supervisor he can see all the tickets.

    when I make him a support manager all tickets disappear and nothing shows (no open, closed or in progress)

    when I make him a support agent, still nothing.

    Looks like there is a bug or issue with settings being saved as well as the user rolls.

    Hope that helps.

    So, there is indeed a bug. I have fixed it (see f8a53c7 for reference).

    You can download the patch here. Just extract the zip at the root of your plugins directory.

    testing now.

    That worked! Perfectly!

    Thank you thank you thank you! I have been pulling my hair out all day/night today trying to figure it out!

    I appreciate the AWESOME SUPPORT for an awesome plugin!

    Hi Julien – thanks so much. This fixed worked for me too UNTIL the plugin required an update. I suspect the patch is overwritten then and I had to repeat the process.

    @terrilove I had the newest version update and after adding the patch it worked, just redo it and you are set.

    Thanks again Julien, ill leave the 5* now.

    Thank you. But will the file be overwritten every time there is a plugin update?

    @terrilove yes probably.

    @julien

    There is still a saving issue for some reason, when I tested last night it was working.

    Any time I save the settings for the default support agent, also check the setting to allow all tickets to be viewed by support agents they keep un checking and defaulting back. Also the setting to tell it which page is the ticket submission and my tickets pages keeps going back to none on both and the settings do not save ??

    @julien

    I also added the code to my functions.php file. When I had the default agent selected they are not being the one picked. I wanted one person to get all the tickets so they could assign them out.

    Something is still wrong ??

    @terrilove the patch is included in the latest version (3.2.4) so you don’t have to worry about it anymore.

    @shay.ca there was a bug in Titan Framework that we use to manage the plugin options. It’s been updated and I just pushed version 3.2.4 that fixes this problem

    @julien,

    Thanks so much for the quick fixes and updates. Glad I was able to help find a bug for you and get it fixed for everyone. Have a great rest of your weekend!
