As an aside, I would love to see this plugin on GitHub for pull requests that allow for proactive updates & improvements supplied, tested, discussed, etc. via the community rather than putting it all on your shoulders (with you still having maintainer control over the WP.org svn for publishing official releases when ready while also having PR merge approval control over GitHub, of course.)
If it already is on GitHub, I highly recommend giving it a mention in the plugin’s description so people know it exists with what’s shown when you view any details regarding the plugin. This helps build that community, as well as help reassure those that like to see a plugin supports community development when they haven’t chosen/installed the plugin yet (I personally like seeing that a plugin is on GitHub to help decide to use one.)
