SuperSocializer Social Login: Instagram

Having tons of challenges getting SuperSocializer Social Instagram Login to work.

After following instructions (https://support.heateor.com/how-to-get-instagram-client-id/ ) to Step 19, Instagram asks to “upload a screencast” for a “detailed step-by-step video walkthrough of how your app will use this permission so we can confirm it is used correctly and it does not violate our policies.”

But if I’m reading your instructions right, using Instagram for login IS violating their policies, so I’m to keep the option turned off until they approve it!?

And, in any case, activating your plug-in’s Instagram social login results in an error when attempting to use it for log in prior to approval by instagram: {“error_type”: “OAuthException”, “code”: 400, “error_message”: “Invalid scope: []”}

Please clarify.

If I can’t turn on the option “until they approve it,” there’s no way to provide a screencast – the option isn’t activated nor will work because Insta hasn’t approved it.

If Insta terms of use doesn’t allow it, turning on Instagram social login to screencast it’s use will be disapproved as against Insta’s terms of use.

What am I missing here!?
