Superscript is not saved

    I had to remove the registered trademark symbol from my site title as the superscript function which is in the editor does NOT save.

    Once I save the changes, it reverts back to inline still in the editor, which on the Construction page looks silly and unprofessional.

    Is this a known issue? Are you able to fix it?

    Hi,

    I’m not sure what you mean, could you post a screenshot?

    UCP doesn’t have a visual editor for the Title field so I’m not sure where you are trying to put the R symbol.

    that’s not correct.

    There IS a visual editor for the content.

    Screenshots.

    I insert the R symbol in superscript – looks ok – SAVE – and then it immediately reverts back to inline.

    Hi,

    OK, I was thinking of the Title field above.

    But you have a point, UCP is stripping out the <sup> tag. We will fix it in the next update but in the meantime, if you are comfortable editing code, you can add it manually to under-construction.php line 1249. Just add it anywhere before or after the tags you see there.
