• I have three users types for our site: Super Admin, Administrator and GuestEvent.

Obviously Super Admin will not and is not restricted.
I have some functions that i wanted to give limited functionality to the Administrator. Two in particular: Our Event Calendar and our Gallery… both plugins…

this was working, but somehow it is messed up.

when I go into the Adminimized settings the SuperAdmin has nothing checked for any functions – meaning it is not restricted.

The Administrator is restricted for the event calendar to only add and edit existing events. BUT when you login as the SuperAdmin they are restricted and the administrator is NOT. Even though when you look at the adminimized control panel or settings it is clearly setup correctly…

The same happens with photo gallery…

    Anyone?

BTW I have done the deinstall to see if that would help and still have the same problem where Adminstrator has more rights to certain areas than SuperAdmin who clearly is not restricted by the plugin…

    ?????

The difference comes form the wp default. The superadmin is only active on the multisite install and have no extra objects, works only, if the user have the flag superadmin on the multisite user settings.
If you will change the areas for two different “admins”, then is it better, if you create a custom admin role, like with Members plugin, and change the settings in Adminimize for this 2 different roles for the job of Admin.
