    I’m not sure what has happened but it is nearly impossible to use this plug in now. Maybe it’s my server, maybe it’s my theme, but I have to get something fixed here. The browser window is locked up for minutes when I load the plugin interface. When editing slides, it takes minutes for the browser to respond. I also get a lot of messages from the plugin saying that it didn’t respond in time. Also, my laptop fan sounds the same as when I am editing a video. I did look at the browser console and I don’t see any specific errors that relate to the plugin. What else can I do to make this work quickly as it is supposed to?

    Sorry to hear you’re currently experiencing this issue.

    We haven’t heard any reports similar to what you’re describing, so this is likely caused by another plugin/theme on your site. Could you try and deactivate all plugins except MetaSlider, as well as switch your theme to a default WordPress theme? If this fixes the issue, you can then try to activate all the plugins back one-by-one until you find which of the plugins is causing the conflict.

    You might also want to try and contact your hosting provider and see if this issue is related to your server setup.

    After reading some other posts, I did disable several plugins. Meta slider is working better now. I will need to re-enable some of them and see which one was causing issues.

    It’s been there for a few months now.
