Super Slow Admin

    My Admin is realllllly slow. It takes a few minutes to even get to the login screen. Once I’m in, it times out every time I try and post. I deleted all the plugins from my server, but that didn’t seem to help.

    Could it be a theme issue?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving.

    collegeessay – I just installed the newest release of WP, 2.3.1, and am experiencing similar slow behavior in the admin area.

    Here’s some info from my server:
    MySQL client version: 5.0.18
    PHP Version: 5.1.2
    Web Server: Apache/2.2.0

    Hopefully someone can provide some insight into this.

    Well, scratch my post. I’ve identified the root of my slowness to the Bad Behavior plugin.

    @lfischergcpl: Cool! Can you indicate me the wrong plugin… I face the same issue and it could really help me!

    For me, it was alinks. Deleted that (with FTP as I couldn’t even get to the plugins page to deactivate it) and all was well again.
