Super frustrating to do simple work

I prefer to have complete control over what my posts look like and I am totally comfortable using HTML and CSS. Gutenberg screws around with my HTML and won’t let me just write a simple post with some simple formatting. Everything is forced into this “blocks” paradigm and it is super frustrating. Thank goodness for the Classic Editor plugin.
