Super Admin vs Admin User Levels – Add Multiple Admins but Protect Super Admin

  • So, my question is regarding permission levels of user accounts. I have a single website for my business and am having various freelance contractors work on my website who need admin level access to make some changes.

    Can I create multiple admins? And how can I protect my admin account (as the owner) from being deleted by these other temporary admins?

    Do you know if a plugin, such as Role Scoper, would address this issue?

    I’m not sure how to handle this and I worry about the security of granting complete access of my site to someone who could lock me out or delete the site, etc. Thanks for any information on this issue.

    You can’t. I would assume that you checked these contractors out before employing them and that you feel able to trust them, yes?
