So many things wrong I can’t even tell you. The super admin can’t access half the menus, and I don’t have an option to allow it, the stupid settings didn’t import right so I am trying to manually re do them, I can’t block the taxonomies and things for anyone, if you block a menu completely you can’t ever undo it, it just disappears. The Super Admin has all capabilities, PERIOD, not kind of or half way, why the heck would I block myself from anything? Do you understand how dumb that sounds blocking the super admin??? I don’t understand why there is so many issues with this “upgrade” I need a fix soon. I emailed you a few times and still haven’t gotten a response. I didn’t buy a premium license for nothing.

I also did your upgrade.php script that you posted on your site, didn’t do a thing.

It is just inaccurately loading what menus the user can access, its really frustrating. How can I get it so it loaded all the menus like before?

    Hi brashell,
I understand your concerns and if you are going to do everything step-by-step we can solve all issues easily.

First of all. AAM 2.0 does not have Super Admin Role. This has been mentioned multiple times on our forum (https://wpaam.com/support), on WordPress forum and on our tweets.
I’m assuming, you Migrated settings and after that the issues began. Please take your time and read next topic: https://wpaam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3

Follow the instructions and all should be good.

We are replying on every single email. Sometimes it takes few days because they are sitting in a queue.

Appreciate your interest in AAM and looking forward to resolve all your issues.
    Vasyl

P.S. Please do not panic. All these issues we were resolving for years successfully.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare upgrade_all() (previously declared in /home/edutas5/public_html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php:331) in /home/edutas5/public_html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 420

Got that on all the scripts I tried from your site.

Also, I am quite clearly looking at the Super Admin role in the backend, it is there.

    Hi brashell,
What WordPress version do you have?

The Super Admin Role is redundant and should be deleted automatically during mentioned script execution.

Ok, I got it working by deleting the Super Admin role and remaking it with all capabilities then setting my user to it on the site, then I was able to have access. I am running into a few problems though, 1. When I go to POSTS & CATEGORIES and save things, they don’t actually work for anyone. 2. When I modify the menu from network admin and save it then come back after its saved, I have to redo all the settings I did before, it doesn’t keep the checkmarks. So thats a bug as well. Yes I am using my premium license key and it is showing its active.

    Hi brashell,
Please send us you database dump. There is something messed up with the system.

Mind telling me what table you need specifically, we have some proprietary data that is protected under a non disclosure agreement.

We need only wp_options, wp_usermeta & wp_postmeta tables. And if it is multisite network, all these tables for each site.

In this way we can check the set of settings you have and come up with solution.

    Greetings and Salutations;

In a urgent and rash move I installed AAM without understanding it fully. (I know, I know, RTFM.) I swiftly and gleefully began clearing all my menus… from my Admin. :/

A small note of thanks to you for the recovery script functioning effortlessly and with confidence. Back on the road to my having a happy boss.

With a renewed sense of responsibility and due process in development, I look forward to writing a better review of this plugin. I have high hopes.

    Hi SanDiegoBeck,
Thank you for words. We are putting a lot of effort to make AAM better, cleaner and more powerful. And I’m glad that you understand the simple rule that Power comes with Responsibility.

Appreciate your interest in AAM and best regards,
    Vasyl

I am having the same problem. I have somehow disabled certain backend menu items and now can’t get them back. I need to reset everything. How do I go about doing this.
