    Hi @storyboard2023,

It looks like you’re working with a third-party editor from Kadence, if I’m not mistaken. This one: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/responsive-woocommerce-emails/.

Please note that this isn’t part of the WooCommerce core, and thus it’s beyond our support scope. You can reach out to Kadence developers for support about this product here: https://www.kadencewp.com/premium-support-tickets/.

Alternatively, you can use the core WooCommerce email edit way by following this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/emails/#email-templates.

I hope this helps so far!

Hi, so after weeks of emails and troubleshooting, Kadence support said to contact you about these order links. I said I had and what to ask differently this time. They said ask this specifically:

“If you want to change the Admin Order URLs too, ask WooCommerce plugin support this: “Is there any way to change the admin order URLs? I’m referring to the URLs for the items found on?Dashboard > WooCommerce > Orders.”

    Hey, @storyboard2023!

Is there any way to change the admin order URLs? I’m referring to the URLs for the items found on?Dashboard > WooCommerce > Orders.

This is not possible to achieve by default, but it you can do it with custom code.

Please note this would require some more complex coding that might cause issues on your website if not done right.

While we can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

You might also want to check with Codeable, Woo Experts or a local developer.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for your quick reply! Why is it so difficult to simply change a URL redirect because we chose to improve our security by redirecting the wordpress admin login? Doesn’t wordpress think of these things?

Our staff admins just want an easy way to click to the login page to view orders. Now, it looks like we disrupt the default admin root URL or revert back to the spammed wordpress admin. login. It’s very backwards.

    Hello @storyboard2023,

Thank you for your response and for sharing your concerns regarding the admin order URLs in WooCommerce. I understand how important it is to have streamlined access for your staff, particularly when security improvements lead to changes in default admin routes.

The default admin order URLs are indeed integrated into the core structure of WooCommerce and WordPress, which is why changing them isn’t a straightforward option in the settings. The intention is to maintain a stable and secure platform, which often means certain paths are standardized.

For your specific needs, where the admin URL has been customized for security reasons, the change to the order links does require custom coding since the ‘wp-admin’ path is a core WordPress component. While WooCommerce aims to provide versatility, this particular area falls outside the typical scope of customization via settings.

As mentioned before, our community of developers on platforms like the WooCommerce Facebook group, Community Slack, or professional services like Codeable or WooCommerce experts, often find creative solutions for unique requirements such as yours.

We will certainly take your feedback on board as we look to improve the WooCommerce experience, and we are always exploring ways to enhance flexibility without compromising security.

I hope this information helps! If there’s anything else we can assist with or any other information we can provide, please let us know.?

    Thanks!
