Summary Latest Post

  • Hi all!

    How can i make the summary of the posts on my homepage smaller? I only want the first sentence to show before it states ‘read more’.

  • This is an option in the premium version but not free with free you have to edit the template file:
    templates/home/blog-home.php line 74.
    replace:
    virtue_excerpt(34);
    with:
    virtue_excerpt(10);

    Or you can go into the post and create a custom excerpt for you post using the excerpt box in the post edit page. Just click “screen options” to make sure the excerpt box is showing.
