I’m suspecting some sort of conflict – but it works one one site and not the other.

I have installed this plugin – it appears to work great on one site – perfect….

On our multi site install – then activated this plugin on another site and we ONLY get a summary feed – not the full feed.

We are using a plugin called RSS No More (makes a full feed into a summary cutting it at the MORE tag). The settings between these 2 feeds are identical – yet we get a summary on on and a full feed on the other.

If you could point be in a direction to look I would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi Jim,

GN Publisher is designed to display the full article, but as you suggested, it’s probably the RSS No More plugin cutting the full article off.

The RSS No More plugin hasn’t been updated in 10 years… honestly, I’m reluctant to change any coding on my end to support it.

Would deactivating it and using the ‘summary’ setting in the WP settings>reading be an option? Even with that setting on ‘summary’, GN Publisher will include the full article, but your regular feeds would just include the summary.

I know that’s not exactly what you want to do, but best practices would be to not use a plugin that old,

Hey Chris – thanks for the quick response. I keep plugins updated at all times – but failed to check for the last update.

Deactivating this plugin resolved the issue

    Thanks

    Glad that worked out ??

    Chris
