    Hi,

I have been using your plugin for so long, I decided to switch to AllInOneSchema plugin. After applying the plugin which I newly installed, it started showing me a summary box, which indeed looked strange. So, I decided to ask them via their support if there is a way I can remove it. The support answered me that the summary is important for the website as Google Search uses this summary to recognize the schema.

My question is, that I had been using your plugin for over a year now, it never showed the summary box. Why didn’t it show? and if their support is right then how did your plugin help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The difference is in the type of s chema.org markup output.

AllInOneSchema outputs markup in Microdata format, which is used to nest structured data within HTML content. (this explains why the summary box has to show on page)

Schema plugin outputs the schema.org markup in json-ld format. The markup is embedded in the page code, which gives more flexibility. Schema plugin adds markup for the description property based on a summary of content, but it doesn’t require display a Summary Box on page.

The JSON-LD format is recommended by Google.

    I hope this explains.

    Hi Hesham,

I think you answered my question. But I have one more questions related to your plugin as I am actively using your plugin on many of my clients’ websites.

My question is, I have several tabs on my page (SEE THE PICTURE)

News has News (In the Red), Few Tabs are for Blogging (In the blue) and in the Black we have Pages.

So do i have to do it like this (SEE THE PICTURE), Like I made three custom schema types, one for News selected only news category, other is for blog which has only blogging type selected and the last one is page, which i made for page. Did i do it right? Or should i not do it?

    Hi,

So, for better results i should use both plug-ins ?

    – No, only one plugin should do. This to avoid markup duplication, which can confuse search engines.

If I have this exact site structure, I would setup and use 3 Types of Articles as the following:

        schema:Artciel:BlogPosting > for blog posts
        schema:Article: NewsArticle > for news
        schema:Article:General > for other content

I hope this answers your question.
