Suggestions for WP hosting in Canada

I’ve had it with goatdaddy. My WP site takes an impossible amount of time to load, plus I can’t even enter my WP manager site. It’s a total joke. This horrible behavior began several weeks ago and it’s getting worse. I get the usual techno-patronizing comments from their support crew (I’m not blaming them). My site is my bread and butter and the disgusting loading times are hurting my business. Time for a change. I’m willing to take a take a loss with regards to my pre-paid hosting fees (what was I thinking?!).
I’m based in Montreal, Canada and am looking for a dependable and robust WP hosting outfit close by. Ant suggestions from the pros out there would be appreciated.

NOTE to goadaddy: please do not make an effort to respond to my post with the usual “we want to keep you as a client…” routine, because my mind is made up. If you want to satisfy your clients, provide them with fast site loading times plus honest sales and support.
