Suggestions for two blogs in one WordPress?

cant we create 2 categories in wordpress and add posts to their relevant categories. then we can add links to both those categories in menu

For the sake of completeness, you could add a completely separate site if allowed by your hosting plan. Probably overkill, but it’s an option.

I’m leaning towards organizing by category as first suggested. Or you could add a custom taxonomy for the purpose if you don’t want to use categories. If you want the second blog to have a different appearance or layout, it may make more sense to go the custom post type route, though this could be accomplished through any of the other methods mentioned as well. Assigning a different template for the new post type is a little easier than doing so for a category or other taxonomy term.
