If you use All in One SEO Pack… should be disabled in the settings on the forum page SEO. Otherwise, it is not indexed by search engines, because it leads to the same page.
    <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://your website/forum/” />

    Hey

    1.
I think the <h1> tags should be added to the text in the blue title area instead to the breadcrumbs?

    2.
So the description should be the text of the first post? What should happen if you are on the second page of a thread?

    1. <h1> must be one page, currently in the header <h1>Furum</h1>

perhaps we should think about the substitution

    2.

    <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://your website/forum?view=forum&id=1″ />

I have to do some research first because I dont know yet on how to improve this in a good way.

    Very well!

    Appeared “title”, super.
It remains to add a “description” and “canonical”
Then the search engines will love forum!

    Great job, great plugin!

    Thank you, Asgaros.

    Hello Yworld!

Maybe you can help me a little bit with the canonical-stuff because I am not really an expert in SEO.

At the moment, the header of every forum-page (overview/forum/thread) contains a canonical-link which links to the “main” forum-post site.

    For example the following sites:

    mysite.com/forum/?view=forum&id=369
    mysite.com/forum/?view=thread&id=118
    mysite.com/forum/?view=thread&id=103&part=6#postid-302

The canonical-attribute for those sites all links to the following site:
    mysite.com/forum

Am I correct that it means that search engines only index the content of mysite.com/forum because of this?

So in fact I have to disable the generation of the canonical-attribute in the header of all forum-sites so all of those forum-pages can get indexed correctly by search engines?

    Yes

Yes, as a temporary solution will ??

For a complete solution necessary, canonical, description.

    description:

An excerpt from the first post + page number in large

Then there will be super ??

For seo plugin is necessary to disconnect canonical, they generate a tag.

All the plug-ins(SEO) there are exceptions pages.
    Then the indexed forum ??

I hope the issue will be resolved ??
Search Console google “there is no description of pages”

Yes, the wrong canonicals should be gone now so they dont need to be excluded from the page by default. More is coming later. ??
