    I have installed the plugin optimizer and I think it is a great tool. I have a suggestion for improvement. It would be nice to be enable a plugin based on shortcodes. Lets say a plugin registers 3 shortcodes. If any of those shortcodes is inside the page, the plugin gets activated automatically. That would be a great configuration option, that would speed up configuration quite a bit. Otherwise I think it is a really great tool.

    That wouldn’t work since the disabling of plugins needs to happen before wordpress is loaded. So Plugin Organizer doesn’t know what the content of the post is and can’t search for a shortcode.

    Well yes, but you could scan the entire site and make a list on which page the shortcode is showing and on which one it is not.

    I assume you do something similar with post types, since you are going to load the plugins before defining which post type is going to be shown.
