• There are several important features to consider in upcoming updates of the Originality.ai WordPress plugin.

Firstly, compatibility with the Classic Editor is essential. Many news websites still rely heavily on the Classic Editor, yet currently, Originality.ai only integrates with Gutenberg.

Secondly, regarding functionality, I’ve noticed the plugin is automatically scanning articles without explicit user confirmation. In my case, it scanned over 780 articles automatically, exhausting all available credits. Adding a confirmation step before performing bulk automatic scans would prevent unwanted consumption of credits.

Lastly, another valuable feature would be to notify editors if an article exceeds a defined AI-generated content threshold (e.g., over 50%) before publishing or scheduling. It could also offer the option to block such content automatically. This feature would greatly benefit editorial teams managing multiple authors.

I hope these suggestions will be taken into consideration.
