Suggestions for “Event” Posts

  • Hi everyone, what in your opinion would be the easiest way to set up an faux event post that would include a title, subtitle, date (separate from the post date), summary and a link to read the rest of the post? All of this data is styled and positioned with CSS.

    The posts would feed the home page, and the blog page would post the full entry.

    The problem I’m having is making the update process easier for my client. They have to use multiple custom fields & the image upload in a nightmarish ordeal considering they need a certain-sized thumb & then drag the URL from the post area to the custom field area, etc.

    Is there an easier way around this?
